Super light weight tent trailer for motorcycles or small cars. The Excel II is hard to beat for light weight, ease of towing, and ease of set up. Weighing only 330 lbs dryweight as the base model, with 33 lbs tongue weight. It is extremely easy to set up. Just drop down the rear stabilizers, undo the latch at the front, then lift up the top and walk to the back. The roof becomes your floor, and the tent sets itself up. At the rear is 6'4" of headroom. The mattress is approximate size of a double bed: 52" x 80"
When closed up for transport, the trailer is a compact 54" x 66" plus the tongue. For storage in your garage, it comes with two tip stands to slide in the back, and the tongue is easily removed with 2 bolts, so it can tip up on its rear for very compact storage. These are Canadian built RV trailers, out of British Columbia. The Excel Tent Trailers were formerly known as Leesure-Lite Trailers, and SunLite Trailers and have been proudly built in Canada for the past 30 years. Under new ownership, the Excel trailers are still focused on a quality build for a light weight pop up trailer.  The tent material is American Aqualon Edge fabric, tough and weather resistant. Above and beyond that is another even more sturdy top rain flap, to insure you stay dry in all kinds of weather. The main body is a fiberglass-coated trailer box, available in white, black or grey. This Base unit we have in stock is the white trailer and storage pod, with the grey tent fabric. The axles are Flexi-Ride torsion half axles, with 16.5x6.5 tires. The hitch requires a 1-7/8" ball.
